Order, reorder, pay at the table.
QR code ordering built for restaurants, bars, breweries, and night clubs. Guests order at their own pace, reorder mid-meal without flagging a server, and close out the moment they're ready. Your servers go back to actual service.

Slow service is the table's biggest complaint
The longer guests wait — for menus, for a refill, for the check — the smaller the check and the lower the review score.

Where Ogent works
One platform, configured for the way you serve.
Restaurants
Servers spend a third of their shift at the POS instead of with guests.
Per-table QR codes let guests order at their own pace. Servers focus on greeting, recommending, and checking in — not punching in orders.
Bars & Pubs
Bartenders making drinks AND taking orders means the rail backs up.
Table tents with QR codes route drink orders straight to the bar printer. Bartenders pour. The rail clears.
Night Clubs & Lounges
Loud music, dim lighting, and crowded floors make verbal orders impossible.
Guests order bottle service, drinks, and small plates from their phone — quiet, accurate, and routed to the right section.
Sports Bars
Big game, packed house, and one server covering twelve tables.
Guests reorder rounds without flagging anyone down. Kitchen tickets fire in real time. Nobody misses the touchdown waiting for service.
Wineries & Tasting Rooms
Guests want to linger over flights without feeling rushed by check-ins.
QR menus let guests browse pairings, order another flight, and pay when they're ready — not when the staff happens to come by.
Breweries & Taprooms
Taproom service swings wildly between dead and slammed.
Same QR works on the patio, at the bar, and at the picnic tables out back. Orders fire to the right station no matter where guests sit.
Table-side features
Everything a great table service needs
The QR is the hook — the rest is what makes service better for your guests and easier for your team.
Per-table QR codes
Each table, booth, or patio seat gets its own QR. Orders include table number so runners always know where to drop the plate.
Learn moreReorder anytime
Guests keep ordering drinks, sides, and desserts throughout the meal — without ever flagging a server. Tickets fire to the kitchen or bar immediately.
Learn morePay when you're ready
No more catching a server's eye for the check. Guests close out from their phone the second they're done. Table flips faster, host can re-seat sooner.
Learn moreApple Pay, Google Pay, card
Tip prompts on-screen — typically higher than at a card reader. Funds settle straight to your processor. No card runs back and forth.
Learn moreHappy hour & scheduled menus
Discounted menus auto-appear only during the hours you set. Brunch on Sundays, late-night menu after 10pm — set it once and forget it.
Learn moreServer still serves
QR ordering is a layer on top of service, not a replacement. Guests can ignore the QR and order verbally — your servers stay in control of the experience.
Learn moreItem photos & dietary filters
Guests see what they're getting and filter by gluten-free, vegan, or allergens. Fewer mistakes, fewer send-backs, better reviews.
Learn moreAI Assistant menu updates
86 the salmon mid-service by texting your AI Assistant. Update a category description, pause table-side ordering, or add a special — all in plain English.
Learn moreNo app, no tablets
Guests scan and order in their phone browser. Staff manage everything from any phone or laptop. No hardware to babysit.

What is table service QR code ordering?
Table service ordering with QR codes lets guests scan a code at their table to view your menu, order, reorder throughout the meal, and pay — all from their own phone. Orders fire directly to your kitchen printer or POS, just like a server-entered order. The server still greets, serves, and checks in; QR ordering removes the wait for ordering and paying without removing hospitality.
Do my servers lose tips if guests order from their phones?
No — typically the opposite. On-screen tip prompts default to higher percentages than guests choose at a card reader, and removing payment friction means more rounds and bigger checks. Operators on Ogent commonly report higher tip averages on QR orders than on traditional table service. Tips are routed to your POS the same way card tips always have been.
Can guests still order from a server if they want to?
Absolutely. QR ordering is additive, not a replacement. Some guests prefer to order verbally, especially for recommendations or modifications — your servers handle those normally. The QR is there for guests who want speed, want to reorder mid-meal without flagging anyone, or want to close out without waiting.
Does this work with my Square, Clover, or MicroSale POS?
Yes. Orders sync into your existing POS automatically and fire tickets to your kitchen printer or KDS exactly the same way a server-entered order does. Your kitchen and bar staff see one queue, not two systems. Pricing changes and inventory updates from your POS flow into the Ogent menu in real time.
What does it cost?
Pick one plan. Pay As You Go is 4% of net sales — you pay nothing until you earn. POS Integration is a flat $149/month with no contract. Both are commission-free on every order, with no setup fee, no per-table license, and no hardware to buy.
Can I run different menus for table service vs takeout?
Yes. Each item has independent visibility for Dine-in and Online channels. Common uses: restrict alcohol to dine-in only, offer larger catering sizes online only, or run a late-night menu that only appears at the table after 10pm.
How fast can I get this set up for my restaurant?
Most operators are live within a day. If you're on Square, Clover, or MicroSale, your menu imports automatically — categories, items, modifiers, and prices. Our team handles the first draft of your branded portal based on your existing brand assets. You print QR table tents and go live the same week.
What about happy hour or scheduled menus?
Categories can be scheduled to specific days and time windows. Happy hour appears at 4pm and disappears at 6pm automatically. Brunch shows up on weekends only. Late-night menu kicks in after the dinner rush. Set it once — it runs forever.
